Let's Raise the Roof with a brilliant concert featuring the Screaming Kicks Big Band and the Hot House Gospel Choir. The concert starts at 7.30pm on Saturday 17th June at Ashbourne Methodist Church, as part of the opening weekend of Ashbourne Festival. Tickets are on sale via Ashbourne Festival. Screaming Kicks Big Band features young musicians from across Derbyshire, performing a great selection of music. Throughout their 20 year history they have received dozens of international awards for music and 4 star reviews from the Guardian newspaper. The Hot House Community Gospel Choir is the biggest and best community choir in the Midlands. With over 75 members, they perform a wide variety of “Gospel” influenced songs, including: He Ain’t Heavy, Stand By Me and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.
